Vial or KwikPen

The four-dose Zepbound KwikPen holds a month of treatment and launched on February 23, 2026 [6]. Single-dose vials need a syringe that measures 0.5 mL or 0.6 mL and a new syringe and needle for each dose [7]. On LillyDirect the two forms cost the same [1]. The Medicare GLP-1 Bridge covers the KwikPen and excludes vials and single-dose pens [2], so ask for the KwikPen if you plan to use Medicare.

Checking the prescriber and the product

FDA has received more than 730 adverse event reports for compounded tirzepatide as of May 31, 2026 [14]. Read compounded tirzepatide.
