Midi Health review: cost, pharmacy and complaints

Midi Health is an insurance-first telehealth menopause clinic. Without insurance, a 30-minute first visit costs $250 and a 15-minute return visit costs $150, and Midi says it charges no membership fee (checked Oct 17 2026) [1]. We rate it clean on a provisional basis: we found no adverse findings, but the FDA letter search and the BBB check are still open.

Medical review: pending. A licensed clinician has not yet reviewed this page.

Midi Health is a US telehealth clinic that treats perimenopause and menopause symptoms over video, billing most PPO insurance plans or charging per visit.

Our verdict

Clean

Per-visit pricing with no membership fee and in-network billing for most PPO plans. No adverse findings in the sources we checked.

FDA record
FDA warning letter search not completed (fda.gov limited our requests on Oct 17 2026). Midi is not among the telehealth warning letters we track.
BBB
Not checked. bbb.org blocks automated access.
Best for
Women with a PPO plan who want menopause care billed to insurance
Watch out

The visit fee is only part of the bill. Medication is a separate cost, and labs may be ordered as part of a care plan [2]. Generic estradiol is cheap at retail with a coupon, so the visits will usually cost more than the hormones. Our HRT cost guide lists cash prices for pills, patches, gels and vaginal estrogen.

What a Midi care plan includes

Midi lists care plans that may include an HRT patch, estradiol cream, vaginal estrogen, progesterone, GLP-1 medications and lab work [2]. What you get depends on the clinician's assessment. Midi also sells supplements and an estriol face cream [2]. Those are retail add-ons, so ask why one is being suggested before you buy it.

Label changes that came up in 2025 and 2026

On Nov 10 2025, HHS said FDA would start removing boxed warning language about cardiovascular disease, breast cancer and probable dementia from menopausal hormone therapy labels [4]. The endometrial cancer boxed warning stays on systemic estrogen-alone products [4]. FDA approved the first revised labels, for 6 products, on Feb 12 2026 [5]. The new labeling recommends starting systemic therapy within 10 years of menopause onset or before age 60 [4].

FDA and complaint record

Midi does not appear in the telehealth warning letters listed in our FDA warning letter tracker. We tried to search FDA's full warning letter database for Midi on Oct 17 2026, but fda.gov limited our requests, so that search is still open [6]. We could not read a BBB profile because bbb.org blocks automated access. The clean rating stays provisional until both checks are done.

Who Midi fits, and who should look elsewhere

  • Fits: you have a PPO plan. Midi says it is in network with most of them [1].
  • Fits: you want to pay per visit instead of a monthly membership, and you use HSA or FSA money [1].
  • Look elsewhere: you have Medicaid, which Midi does not accept [1].
  • Look elsewhere: you have Medicare. Midi is out of network, so visits are self-pay [1]. Medicare Part D can cover the hormones themselves, depending on the plan [7].
  • Look elsewhere: you want an in-person clinician. Our menopause specialist finder explains how to find one.

Before you start hormone therapy

The endometrial cancer boxed warning remains on systemic estrogen-alone products [4]. Read the boxed warning and Medication Guide that come with your prescription and ask your prescriber which symptoms to report. For an emergency, call 911.
