Concierge medicine is primary care paid partly through a membership fee that buys faster access, longer visits or extra screening.
Who buys concierge care in Miami
Miami's population skews older than many large cities: 15.9% of residents are 65 or older [3]. The median household income is $62,462 [3], which puts a several-thousand-dollar retainer out of reach for many households and explains why lower-cost direct primary care also has a market here. Medicare does not pay concierge fees [6], so retirees pay them out of pocket.

Functional and longevity medicine
Searches for functional medicine and longevity doctors in Miami turn up many cash-only practices. Prenuvo lists a Miami location for its full-body MRI [15], at $2,499 for the Whole Body scan [16]. Neko Health has said Miami is among its planned US cities after New York [17]. The American College of Radiology does not recommend total-body MRI screening for people without symptoms or risk factors [18]. Before paying, read functional medicine costs, longevity clinics and full-body MRI cost.
Florida rules worth knowing
Florida passed a direct primary care law in 2018 (SB 80), which treats DPC agreements as outside insurance regulation [5]. Since January 1, 2026, DPC fees up to $150 a month for one person can come from an HSA without breaking HSA eligibility, but practices that also bill insurance do not qualify [19]. If you are on Medicare, the doctor cannot charge the fee for services Medicare covers and must give you an Advance Beneficiary Notice for noncovered items in the fee [6]. Check the doctor's license with the Florida Board of Medicine [20].
