Concierge medicine is membership-based primary care: a recurring fee buys faster appointments, direct physician contact and longer visits.
Two hospital-backed programs
Jupiter Medical Center describes Concierge Care as a subscription service with same-day appointments and round-the-clock physician access, run from offices in Jupiter and Stuart [1]. Cleveland Clinic's version promises a doctor reachable day and night, appointments the same or next weekday in most cases, a yearly in-depth health review, help managing chronic conditions and lining up specialists, vaccines at cost, and in-office or video visits with your concierge clinician included. Its Florida sites include West Palm Beach, Stuart, Naples, Fort Lauderdale, Vero Beach and Weston [2].

Medicare rules for a county that skews older
A quarter of Palm Beach County residents (26.1%) are 65 or older [4], so Medicare rules shape most concierge decisions here. Medicare.gov sets out three points. The retainer is never reimbursed. A participating doctor may not fold Medicare-covered care into the retainer as an extra charge. And a non-participating doctor's bill for covered care is capped at 15% over Medicare's approved amount, a ceiling known as the limiting charge [10]. If the fee buys services Medicare does not cover, expect an Advance Beneficiary Notice [10]. More in concierge medicine and Medicare.
Florida's DPC law and HSAs
Florida recognized direct primary care in SB 80, signed March 23, 2018 [5]. For people under 65 with an HSA, a DPC plan of $150 a month or less for one person no longer blocks contributions as of 2026; concierge programs that bill insurance fall outside that rule [11][12]. With a county median household income of $83,581 [4], a $4,000 retainer is about 4.8% of a middle household's income. See concierge versus DPC and the DPC guide.
Longevity testing and executive physicals
Some concierge programs bundle advanced screening into the fee. MDVIP, for one, ties its retainer to a yearly battery of advanced tests that insurers do not usually pay for [6]. For a la carte prices on scans and lab panels, see our longevity testing guide and executive physical guide.
