How we check

Executive physicals: programs compared

An executive physical is a packed preventive checkup, often done in one to three days; Mayo Clinic's Executive Health Program builds a personalized 1 to 3 day itinerary of exams, tests and consults in Rochester, Scottsdale, Jacksonville and London [1]. Most programs we checked publish no price. The one published figure in our research is Human Longevity Inc's Executive Health at $8,000 a year [2].

What an executive physical can include

Programs build a schedule of preventive exams, tests and consults [1]. Mayo's Scottsdale campus lists optional add-ons such as predictive genomics and multi-cancer early detection [5]. Human Longevity Inc's version includes a full-body MRI, 120+ blood biomarkers and a genome [2]. You can also buy many of these tests on their own:

More tests can mean more follow-up

The American College of Radiology says there is not enough evidence to recommend whole-body screening for people without symptoms, risk factors or family history [13]. In one early Weill Cornell series, about 30% of people screened with whole-body MRI needed follow-up [14]. Ask any program how it handles incidental findings and who pays for the follow-up.

Executive physical vs concierge membership

A concierge membership spreads similar prevention across a year. AAFP describes concierge memberships as centered on an in-depth physical and screenings [15]. Cleveland Clinic Concierge Medicine includes an annual comprehensive health assessment [16], and MDVIP's fee pays for an annual Wellness Program of advanced screenings [17]. Published concierge fees ran $2,250 to $4,000 or more a year in our Concierge Fee Index [18][19]. See the concierge medicine guide for how memberships work.

How to compare programs

  1. Ask for the full price and what is in it: exams, labs, imaging, consults and the written report.
  2. Ask which parts are billed to insurance and which are self-pay.
  3. Ask what add-ons cost and whether they are optional.
  4. Ask who follows up on abnormal results and whether follow-up is included.
  5. Count travel and time off if the program is in another city.

Executive physicals near you

Our city guides list local programs where we could confirm them: Scottsdale and Phoenix (Mayo Clinic), Chicago (Northwestern Medicine), Miami (UHealth Premier), Orange County (Hoag) and Pittsburgh (AHN).

What we could not confirm

We could not confirm published prices for Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Northwestern Medicine, Johns Hopkins, Hackensack Meridian or UCLA executive programs as of October 17, 2026. Mayo's main program page shows no price [1]. Because the core cost question cannot be answered from published sources yet, see executive physical cost for the prices we do have and how to request a quote. For prevention without a full program, see our longevity testing guide.
