Noom Med is the medical arm of the Noom weight loss app, offering a microdose GLP-1 program and prescriptions for brand-name GLP-1 medicines through Noom's clinicians.
Our verdict
Not yet ratedWe have not rated this company yet. We could not confirm enough about its prices, FDA record and complaint history to apply our rating rule, so we do not link to it. The facts we could confirm are below.
Noom GLP-1 cost
The only Noom GLP-1 price we could confirm is the microdose program in the footnote on Noom's home page. The Noom Med page itself showed a waitlist and no prices when we checked, and looked out of date [3].
| Plan | Price | Terms | Checked | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Microdose GLP-1 program, start | $99 plus tax | Covers an initial 3-week subscription plus 4 weeks of medication | Oct 17 2026 | [1] |
| Microdose GLP-1 program, after start | $199/mo plus tax | 12-week subscription | Oct 17 2026 | [1] |
| Brand GLP-1s (Wegovy, Zepbound and others) | Not confirmed | Noom names these drugs; we found no price | Oct 17 2026 | [1] |
The $99 start is not a trial you can walk away from cheaply: it rolls into a 12-week commitment. Read the subscription and refund terms at checkout, since we could not confirm them. For what other programs charge, see semaglutide cost and online GLP-1 programs compared.
Does Noom offer tirzepatide, Wegovy or the Wegovy pill?
Noom names Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro and Zepbound in its GLP-1 materials [1]. Mounjaro and Zepbound are brand-name tirzepatide, so Noom's clinicians can prescribe tirzepatide in that sense. We could not confirm whether Noom offers compounded tirzepatide, whether it prescribes the Wegovy pill, or what any brand drug costs through Noom.
If you want a brand drug, the makers publish self-pay prices you can compare against any quote: LillyDirect lists Zepbound at $299 to $449 a month by dose [4], and NovoCare lists the Wegovy pill at $149 to $299 a month by dose [5]. Ozempic is approved for type 2 diabetes, not weight loss [6]. See Zepbound cost and Wegovy pill cost by dose.
Is Noom's compounded semaglutide safe or FDA-approved?
Noom's microdose program footnotes refer to compounded drugs [1]. Compounded semaglutide is not FDA-approved, and FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness or quality [17]. FDA had received 990 adverse event reports for compounded semaglutide as of May 31 2026, and has warned about dosing errors with compounded injections [7].
Microdosing is not a labeled use of any approved GLP-1. The Wegovy label starts at 0.25 mg once weekly for the first 4 weeks and steps up from there [8]. Our semaglutide microdosing guide covers what is and is not known.
Where does Noom get its semaglutide?
We could not confirm which pharmacy fills Noom's compounded prescriptions. Ask before you pay. FDA says telehealth firms should not imply they make compounded drugs themselves, or that a pharmacy is FDA-approved or FDA-licensed [9].
Will Noom stop selling compounded semaglutide?
Noom has not said, as far as we found. The rules have tightened: FDA says 503A pharmacies may compound semaglutide only for individual patients, and may not make routine copies of approved drugs unless a prescriber documents a significant difference for that patient [10]. In February 2026 FDA said it intends to act against non-approved GLP-1 drugs [11], and on Aug 27 2026 a federal appeals court upheld FDA's finding that the semaglutide and tirzepatide shortages are over [12]. See compounded semaglutide: cost, legality and safety.
FDA, BBB and review record
FDA: No warning letter to Noom in fda.gov searches or a compilation of 163 GLP-1 letters through Sept 30 2026 [2]. Compare the companies listed in our FDA warning letter tracker.
BBB and Trustpilot: Not checked. We could not check Noom's BBB profile, and our attempt to read its Trustpilot page on Oct 17 2026 was refused by a rate limit. We also could not confirm Noom's refund terms, the states it serves or how long shipping takes.
Why Noom Med has no rating
Our rating rules need the FDA record, the BBB record and the company's own terms. For Noom Med we have the first and only part of the third. We will rate it once the rest is confirmed.
Safety on any semaglutide
The Wegovy label carries a boxed warning for thyroid C-cell tumors seen in rodents and is not for people with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2. Its warnings include pancreatitis, so severe stomach pain that will not go away needs prompt care, and low blood sugar with insulin or a sulfonylurea. Stop it at least 2 months before a planned pregnancy [8]. Call 911 for a severe allergic reaction.
