How we check

Concierge and longevity medicine in Jacksonville

Jacksonville is one of four places Mayo Clinic runs its Executive Health Program, a 1- to 3-day itinerary of preventive exams, tests and consults that does not list a price [1]. Concierge primary care is a separate product with an annual fee; the Florida programs we found, including Cleveland Clinic's, do not publish theirs [2].

Medical review: pending. A licensed clinician has not yet reviewed this page.

Concierge medicine is primary care that charges an annual or monthly membership fee for added access, while an executive physical is a one-time, multi-test checkup.

Mayo Clinic's executive program is local

Mayo Clinic's Executive Health Program operates in Rochester, Minnesota; Scottsdale, Arizona; Jacksonville; and London. It builds a personalized 1- to 3-day schedule of preventive exams, tests and specialist consults, and its page lists no price [1]. An executive physical is a once-a-year event, not ongoing primary care. If you want a doctor you can text on a Tuesday, that is concierge or direct primary care. What a retainer means on a Jacksonville income

Jacksonville's median household income is $69,872 [3]. At $2,000 to $5,000 a year, a concierge retainer would take roughly 3% to 7% of it. Direct primary care is cheaper: the AAFP says monthly DPC fees generally range from $50 to $100 [9], and Hint Health's data put the median individual DPC membership around $80 a month in 2022 [10]. See concierge versus DPC and the DPC guide.

Florida law and HSAs

Florida recognized direct primary care through SB 80, signed March 23, 2018 [4]. Since 2026, a DPC arrangement priced at $150 a month or less for one person, paid as a fixed fee and limited to primary care, can be paid from an HSA without ending HSA eligibility [11][12]. Concierge plans that also bill insurance do not fit that definition [11].

Medicare and concierge care

About 14.9% of Jacksonville residents are 65 or older [3]. Medicare does not pay concierge fees, and Medicare.gov notes that state laws may also apply to these contracts [13]. Ask whether the doctor accepts Medicare assignment; if so, the fee cannot include extra charges for Medicare-covered services [13]. See concierge medicine and Medicare.
