Diabetes, heart disease and the label

Clinic vials are a different product
Pharmacy-compounded semaglutide has no FDA approval and no FDA review of safety, effectiveness or quality; FDA has 990 adverse event reports tied to it [12]. Label warnings
Both brands carry a boxed warning from rodent thyroid C-cell tumors, so MTC or MEN 2 in you or your family rules them out [6]. Lasting severe stomach pain, allergic swelling, or lows while on insulin or a sulfonylurea need care. Come off Wegovy 2 months or more before a planned pregnancy. Dial 911 for emergencies.
